How to Set Up Email Forwarders and Aliases

Email forwarders and aliases allow you to redirect messages sent to one address to another, or create alternate addresses that deliver to the same mailbox. This is useful for managing multiple contact points (e.g., sales@, support@) without creating separate inboxes.

Setting Up an Email Forwarder

  1. Log in to your Client Area.

  2. Go to Services → My Services and select your hosting plan.

  3. In the service dashboard, click Email Forwarders.

  4. Click Add Forwarder.

  5. Enter the source email address (e.g., sales@yourdomain.com).

  6. Enter the destination email address (e.g., you@yourdomain.com).

  7. Click Create.

All emails sent to the source address will now be forwarded to the destination.

Setting Up an Email Alias

  1. Log in to your Client Area.

  2. Go to Services → My Services and select your hosting plan.

  3. In the service dashboard, click Email Aliases.

  4. Click Add Alias.

  5. Enter the alias address (e.g., info@yourdomain.com).

  6. Select the primary mailbox that should receive the messages.

  7. Click Create.

Now, any email sent to the alias will be delivered to the chosen mailbox.

Tip: Use aliases for public‑facing addresses (like info@ or contact@) and forwarders to consolidate multiple addresses into one inbox.
